Rhonni Chandler is a native of Georgia. She is a registered nurse, with over 2 years experience in psychiatry. She is incredibly passionate about mental health and breaking the stigmas attached to seeking therapy, medication, and other psychiatric services. WNC has held a special place in her heart since she was a young child. She vividly remembers realizing how kind folks were in WNC versus back home. It is her biggest hope to pay back the kindness and generosity she had always received when visiting the mountains of NC. She is committed to assist during this time of desperate need in North Carolina.

  Ryan Zwieg is experienced with hurricanes and disaster relief in many ways. His specialties are winning hearts and minds while looking cool, Ryan is a master at carpentry, heavy equipment from cranes to forklifts and everything in between.

Ryan is proficient with chainsaws and axes.

Ryan is a master negotiator and tactically inclined.

But most of all Ryan is a West North Carolinian as he cares for the people of Appalachia.

 Kristin Wickre, a native of Concord, North Carolina, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her work. As a former EMS and Department of Defense (DoD) 911 dispatcher, Kristin honed her exceptional problem-solving skills, precise communication abilities, and strong expertise in logistics. Known for her hands-on approach and unyielding commitment, she isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves and tackle challenges head-on.

Kristin’s passion for helping others drives her to prioritize the well-being and needs of her community above all else. With a genuine ability to listen, empathize, and understand the unique concerns of those she serves, she ensures that community support is not just a mission but a personal dedication. Her strong background and unwavering focus on service make Kristin an invaluable asset to any team or initiative aimed at making a real difference.

Sylvia was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. As a mom of 4, wife, US Navy Veteran, and now critical care nurse, she strives to serve and give back to the community. While she lives in Pittsburgh, PA now, her entire family is still in NC and it will always be home. She grew up camping, four wheeling, shopping, and horseback riding in the mountains of NC, so the passion for the region and people is strong and not going anywhere!

Sue Lobdell is a dedicated accountant and small business owner with a deep-rooted sense of patriotism, shaped by her upbringing in a military family. Raised by family who served their country with pride, Sue carries forward that legacy of commitment and service in everything she does.

With 28 years of experience in diverse industries including healthcare, government non-profits, construction, trades, and manufacturing, Sue has developed a broad expertise in accounting and financial management. She is now the proud owner of Virtual Accountant Pros, an accounting firm specializing in bookkeeping, payroll, benefits, tax, and virtual executive assistance. Sue’s firm provides comprehensive financial services to businesses, helping clients streamline their operations and achieve financial success.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Sue is passionate about volunteering and giving back to her communities. Whether through local initiatives or larger service projects, Sue is committed to making a positive impact, embodying the values of service and stewardship that were instilled in her from an early age.

Sue's unique blend of professional experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to her community makes her a trusted advisor and a valued leader in both her business and personal life.

Ronnie Maynard is the owner of Maynard Electric in Morganton, NC. From the fist days after Hurricane Helene Ronnie mobilized to take care of his fellow North Carolinians.

He dedicated almost 70,000 SQ Ft of his electrical supply business warehouse to begin allowing deliveries for critical life saving relief supplies.

In no time hundreds of donations came in along with an army of volunteers.

This amazing relief hub unloads, sorts and pallets up to 12 trucks per day and coordinates the supply deliveries to continue to stock local community hubs throughout western North Carolina.

A long time friend of our Founder, 

Ralph "The Captain" Avallone sadly Andy Sziraki passed away in 2022.

Andy was a loving, energetic and happy Patriot who tirelessly supported Veteran causes.

His prescence is greatky missed and in the words of our Founder he said " If I called Andy and asked him to help with our work in North Carolina all he would have said is "Who's truck are we taking?"

 Joseph H. Yocius, known affectionately as “High Country Joe,” is a distinguished Vietnam War veteran who served as a C-130 pilot, tasked with the profoundly noble mission of transporting fallen American soldiers back home. Joe is the last surviving member of the “Ravens,” the esteemed group dedicated to this solemn and honorable duty.

Joe has been an invaluable contributor to our organization’s relief efforts in Western North Carolina. His unwavering dedication and deep-rooted connections within the Appalachian community have significantly strengthened our outreach, facilitating support and aid to those most in need. Joe’s commitment to helping the people of Appalachia recover from this unprecedented disaster exemplifies true selflessness and resilience. His leadership and compassion continue to inspire all those who work alongside him.
